Just a short one,

At last google has indexed this site, even though I am in the final stages of uploading content to the site I am submitting it to search engines to try and get it noticed for when I am finished it.

As of this morning google rank this site as the 2,092,282 most popular site, woohoo!

Id better come down before I get dizzy.

The calm after the storm

Yesterday was a nightmare, I was pulling my hair out due to the inability of PHP and MySQL to communicate. After a sound nights sleep it took me nearly 30 minutes to achieve what I spent all day doing yesterday.

It seems that wamp stores a php.ini in its /apache2/ folder, even though I was editing the one that resides in /windows/system/ , obviously with no effect at all. Mai bpen rai (never mind) as the thai's would say. I will mayby do a on it one of these days.

The well diggers

We have been driving past these guys for a few days now, they started digging a well for a neighbour but were having trouble finding water. This is the second 20m deep hole that they dug - the first one was dry at that depth. So they filled it in and started digging another about 40ft away.

The state of the software industry

Software Engineering in the UK strives on as a growing and vital IT occupational group, although there is still a shortage of graduates offering key skills in many areas. Database software, information modelling tools and application development are amongst those areas in need of an injection of qualified personnel. One of the main factors affecting this shortage is the fact that self-employment amongst software engineers is higher than the average for other disciplines within the IT sector, obviously developing software packages of their own.

One of those days!

So much for the 'daily blog', lol, anyone that knows me possibly suspected that there would be less of a daily activity here.

Lately it has been so hectic trying to get things finished off and ready for public consumption, nearly there though. All that is left on Solve is a couple of niggly design issues, bit too much whitespace in some areas.
